La Escuelita houses UBP's Homeless Hot Meals Program, Emergency Food Pantry, New York City Board of Education Adult Bilingual Education classes, and is the agency's administrative headquarters.

Mrs. A's Place is a multi-service center and houses a variety of substance abuse and HIV-related services, including the HIV prevention programs, HIV case management, and medically supervised day treatment for substance abuse. Our Senior Citizen component of our medically supervised day treatment programs is also located here, as well as UBP's Central Intake. The aftercare program for UBP clients completing treatment programs is also located here. Bronx Lebanon Hospital provides free HIV testing and Bronx AIDS Services provides nutritional counseling, cooking classes and pantry. A childcare center is also located in the facility. A hot lunch is served to clients of all programs at noon. Medical assessments are provided on-site by Hunt's Point Multi-Service Center, Inc. on a regular basis. Additionally, 12-Step Meetings (NA) are held in the reception area every Thursday night. The building is open for services from 8:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M.

UBP's comprehensive residential drug-free treatment program for homeless women with children. This site offers substance abuse services, meals, on-site childcare, educational/ vocational services, medical and mental health management, and a broad range of family-based intervention and support. This 12 apartment building provides supportive, permanent, low-income housing for homeless families who have graduated from our La Casita treatment program.

This facility was opened in February of 1997, and houses UBP's four additional HIV programs. It is a transitional Harm Reduction housing program for homeless, active substance abusing men and women who are HIV positive or who have AIDS. Also opened in January of 1998 were a Ryan White Title I program to provide outreach, harm reduction, recovery readiness and relapse prevention services to HIV+ substance users who are homeless and our Ryan White Title II Mental Health Services. The agency's HIV prevention programs are also located here.

This facility was opened in August of 2000, and provides 6 additional apartments of supportive, permanent, low-income housing for homeless families who have graduated from our La Casita treatment program. The permanent housing component of La Casita III: The Mix allowed UBP to expand their housing units from 12 to 18 apartments.

This portion of the same building is UBP's comprehensive residential drug-free treatment program for homeless women with children. This site offers the same comprehensive program as La Casita. This site is an expansion of our La Casita Program, which allowed UBP to expand from 89 beds to 155 beds.

Please note that although there are two programs located in this one building, there are two separate entrances for each program and only emergency connections between both. Finally, this building therefore enjoys two addresses: Apartments= 607 Prospect Avenue, and Program= 1006 East 151st Street.

This is an Article 28 Primary Health Care Clinic, which will also provide Medical Health Care services to the "Uninsured". The clinic is currently open to patients with Medicaid, and will soon be open to patients with all types of insurance.
